Training is vital to the success of any police mission, police department, or police officer. This site and its connected sites have been built by police officers for police officers in an effort to get the right training and information out to the right officers and civilian employees when they need it.
At CJTraining.com, we provide the news that you need without all the hype, meaningless junk and dribble, delivered in a short, to-the-point style that is useful and timely. Get the real story - and if we don't know, we'll tell you so.
We also have created short, focused self-paced online training that is meant to give you what you need when you need it. Some courses are free, but no course is over $49, and all courses carry a certificate of completion that you can turn in for continuing education credit (check with your training division or state to determine applicability of credit.) Check this link for a listing of the courses that we are developing. Combine courses into a "specialist" certification, such as criminal investigator, traffic enforcement, supervisor, or other specialist certifications. Additionally, we will soon offer instructor-led cohort training in advanced topics in a six-week format. Learn with criminal justice professionals from all over the world in these up-to-date courses.
Also coming up soon - mobile apps for your iPhone, iPad or other mobile device that provides you with just-in-time information exactly when you need it. Been a while since you packaged evidence for DNA testing? Need a quick refresher on that formula for speed-from-skidmarks? We will have that for you here and in your Apple or Android app store.

Each course is split into logical modules. There is a short introductory video for each module, followed by one or more branched lessons. At the end of each module there is a review video, then a short quiz.
When all modules have been completed, there is a final exam. To be considered as completed, the officer must go through all portions of the course, pass the quizzes and the final exam with a score of not less than 80%, and acknowledge that it is his or her own work without outside help. At that point, a certificate of completion is provided to the officer via email.

Look for these courses in Late-2015.
